Description
English: KODIAK, Alaska - Petty Officer 1st Class William Krahn, an aviation survival technician with Air Station Kodiak, directs the three crewman of the 52-foot Homer-based fishing vessel Bear into the hangar at the Air Station in Kodiak to warm up following their successful rescue from a liferaft in Aniakchak Bay 196-miles southwest of Kodiak Aug. 30, 2011. The Bear crew donned survival suits and abandoned ship into their liferaft following the grounding of the fishing vessel in the early morning hours of Aug. 30.
