Description

Yleisradio's workshop in Helsinki. Finnish Broadcasting Company loaned from Fernseh GmbH a Pantason 16 mm film projector, monitor and control devices for vidicon cameras and a sync pulse generator. Finnish Broadcasting Company was able to transmit and show films on a television set during The Radio And Television Exhibition 6.-14.10.1956. Behind the equipment Sven Lounastörmä, Matti Wihuri, Lauri Häkkinen, Johannes Günther (Fernseh GmbH, Germany), Kaarlo Sainio and Eero Heliö, all M.Sc (Tech.).

Yleisradion työpajalle asennetun RCA:n televisiolähettimen avulla pystyttiin näyttämään filmejä televisiossa Kauppakorkeakoululla pidetyssä näyttelyssa, "Radio ja televisio tänään" 6.-14.10.1956. Tämä onnistui Saksasta Fernseh GmbH:lta lainatuilla laitteilla. Pantason 16 mm filmiprojektori, josta saatavan kuvan muuttaa Fernseh GmbH:n valmistama vidicon-kamera tv-kuvaksi. Kahden vidicon-kameran tarkkailu- ja säätölaitteet ja viimeisenä laitteiden yhteinen tahtipulssikeskus. Oikeassa reunassa on, vain osittain näkyvissä, yksi vidicon-kamera jalustalla. Säätölaitteiden takana ovat Yleisradion televisioinsinööri, DI Sven Lounastörmä, DI Matti Wihuri, radioalan yhteistyövaliokunnan puheenjohtaja, DI Lauri Häkkinen, tuotantopäällikkö, DI Johannes Günther (Fernseh GmbH, Saksa), Yleisradion yli-insinööri, DI Kaarlo Sainio (Kalle Sainio, K.S. Sainio) ja DI Eero Heliö.
