Description
Italiano: a , gli aplotipi ASIP sono stati dedotti dal WGS di cinque cani antichi (cerchi), due lupi antichi (quadrati) e 68 lupi moderni (grafici a torta) distribuiti nell'Olartico (i dati estesi Fig. 7 e la Tabella supplementare 12 mostrano rappresentazioni dettagliate degli aplotipi ) . Gli asterischi indicano aplotipi SY/DY per i quali l'inserzione HCP1 è assente (SY*) o non accertabile (DY*). B, Un modello per l'origine dell'aplotipo giallo dominante e la sua trasmissione nei cani e nei lupi artici, in cui le alterazioni molecolari nei promotori modulari sono state acquisite per introgressione (rosso, HCP1) o per mutazione nel lupo grigio (blu, VP1). Le tempistiche degli eventi di speciazione, dell'addomesticamento dei cani e degli eventi geologici che influenzano la dispersione del lupo grigio si basano su studi precedenti 10 , 33.
