Description
English: Papel picado ("pecked paper") is a mainstay of celebrations in Mexico. Usually themed to the specific event being celebrated, this picture represents Christmas designs and how the traditional paper has given way to more mass-produced plastic versions.
Español: El papel picado es típico de las celebraciones en México. Generalmente se adapta al evento específico que celebra, en esta fotografía se representan diseños navideños y el reemplazo del uso tradicional de papel por versiones de plástico producidas en masa.
