| Description |
English: Field Trials The science of crop production is always moving forwards. This is a field scale trial of Oil Seed Rape. It may be a variety or pesticide trial. The white canes denote blocks of crop that will receive different inputs. They will be monitored and recorded through the growing season and often a small trials combine will harvest the individual blocks so that yield can be accessed. Usually Agronomists and farmer groups will be invited to view the growing crop and make their own assessment. |
