| Description |
English: The screen of a Fidlar Doubleday (formerly Fidlar and Chambers) EV 2000 DRE voting machine in a voting booth displaying the first page of a ballot. The narrow viewing angle of the screen made it almost impossible to get uniform intensity across the screen. This machine is covered by US patent 6,799,723 filed in 1998.
This image was scanned from a 3 by 5 snapshot. Multiple scans were superimposed to help reduce the impact of artifacts caused by the scanning process before squaring up the image to correct distortion caused by photographing slightly off axis. |
