Summary[edit]

Description
English: Fiaccolata of the Red Cross Association. Event that takes place every year at the end of June. Volunteers of the International Red Cross association coming from all over the world take part in this parade with torches and walk from Solferino to Castiglione delle Stiviere. Historic commemorative event of the assistance given to injured people of the Battle of Solferino and San Martino by inhabitants of Castiglione delle Stiviere. It is here that the idea of Red Cross was born.
