Summary[edit]

Description
English: Festival Inn, Trowell. Trowell was chosen as the "Festival Village" for the 1951 Festival of Britain because it was in the centre of England and combined rural and industrial life. The new hostelry built at the time still goes by the name of "The Festival Inn" but underwent a major refurbishment in the mid 1990s.
