Català: La Festa Major d'Alp és un element inclòs a l'inventari del patrimoni cultural immaterial del Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, inventari realitzat per Institut del Patrimoni Cultural Immaterial (IPACIM).
Alp celebra la seva Festa Major entorn la diada del seu patró, sant Pere, que s’escau el 29 de juny. La nit abans —la revetlla— també forma part de la festa major, a la qual s’afegeixen normalment dos dies més, que poden ser abans o després del 27, segons com sigui el calendari i amb la finalitat d’enllaçar amb un cap de setmana. L’organitzen principalment l’Ajuntament i la Comissió de Festes, amb l’ajut d’alguns joves voluntaris per al Tractour, la Nit Jove i el Va Parir Tour. El 2019 també hi ha col·laborat el grup de castellers, creat aquest any. La Festa de Sant Pere sempre havia estat una festa molt seguida pels veïns i reconeguda com la pròpia davant la Festa d’Estiu dels Estiuejants, ja desapareguda. La dels Estiuejants, celebrada a mitjan agost, l’organitzaven els estiuejants en honor als veïns d’Alp, en senyal de gratitud pel bon acolliment que sempre rebien. A la Festa de Sant Pere, tradicionalment els músics tenien un paper força destacat i molt proper. La Festa de Sant Pere sempre havia estat una festa molt seguida pels veïns i reconeguda com la pròpia davant la Festa d’Estiu dels Estiuejants, ja desapareguda. La dels Estiuejants, celebrada a mitjan agost, l’organitzaven els estiuejants en honor als veïns d’Alp, en senyal de gratitud pel bon acolliment que sempre rebien. A la Festa de Sant Pere, tradicionalment els músics tenien un paper força destacat i molt proper.
English: The "Festa Major d'Alp" is an element included in the inventory of the intangible cultural heritage of the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró, an inventory carried out by the Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage (IPACIM).
Alp celebrates its Festa Major around the day of its patron saint, Saint Peter, which falls on June 29. Alp celebra su Fiesta Mayor en torno al día de su patrón, San Pedro, que se celebra el 29 de junio. La noche anterior —la verbena— también forma parte de la fiesta mayor, a la que se añaden normalmente dos días más, que pueden ser antes o después del 27, según sea el calendario y con el fin de enlazar con un jefe de semana. Lo organizan principalmente el Ayuntamiento y la Comisión de Fiestas, con la ayuda de algunos jóvenes voluntarios para el Tractour, la Nit Jove y el Parió Tour. En 2019 también ha colaborado el grupo de castellers, creado este año. La Fiesta de San Pedro siempre había sido una fiesta muy seguida por los vecinos y reconocida como la propia ante la Fiesta de Verano de los Verano, ya desaparecida. La de los Verano, celebrada a mediados de agosto, la organizaban los veraneantes en honor a los vecinos de Alp, en señal de gratitud por la buena acogida que siempre recibían. En la Fiesta de San Pedro, tradicionalmente los músicos tenían un papel muy destacado y muy cercano.
