Ferenc JOACHIM (1882-1964), Hungarian (Magyar) artist painter was interviewed in the Budapest, Hungary daily afternoon newspaper "Esti Kurir" on 15 March 1935 on page 9. The topic of the interview is how in the middle of the Great Depression he had fallen into abject hopeless poverty and hunger with his wife and children Piroska, Attila and Ferenc G. and how the despair had driven his daughter Piroska to attempted suicide and who is now being treated at the Rokus Hospital. The newspaper article identifies Ferenc JOACHIM as a founding member of the Nemzeti Szalon, a contributor to the Nemzeti Muzeum, and a recognized artist in Paris, Rome and Berlin.
