Liebe Frau Koch!
Verzeihen Sie bitte vielmals, daß ich erst heute an Sie schreibe, wenn gleich Hansi nun schon doch einige Zeit bei uns weilt! Es gibt eben immer sehr viel zu tun im hause und meistens bin ich dann zu müde um noch schreiben zu können. Glücklich und gesund ist Hansi angekommen. Vormittags um 1/4 nach 11 Uhr haben wir die Karte vom Negerlein bekommen und um 1/2 12 Uhr sollte der Bub schon mit dem Auto kommen. Mein Bruder Thomas konnte gerade noch mit dem Fahrrad zurecht kommen um Hansi in Reutte vom Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Nach dem Essen - wir hatten gerade eine große Menge Tirolerknödel gekocht - schlief der ermüdete Hansi 3 Stunden. Abends beim Auspacken übergab er mir dann zu meiner größten Überraschung Ihre schönen Geschenke. ich war sehr von Herzen erfreut darüber: über die Puppe sowohl wie über die hübschen Häferln [das Haferl: im bayerisch-österreichischen Sprachraum, umgangssprachlich: (große) Tasse]. Alles ist ganz und wohlbehalten in meine Hände gelangt, kein Henkel fehlte den Häferln und der reizenden Puppe war kein Haar gekrümmt. Vielen, vielen herzlichen Dank für die große Freude, die Sie mir machten! Nur unangenehm
