Liebes Negerlein!
Du tust mir leid, daß Du so lange auf den Herrn umsonst warten mußtest, der dir vom Christkindlein das Paket bringen sollte! Der Herr, ein Freund von Thomas, hat es nicht mitnehmen können weil mein Bruder versäumte ihm rechtzeitig das Paket zu geben. Nun mußten wir die Bäckerei durch eine frische ersetzen und die butter von Frau Wörle auswechseln mit frischer auswechseln. laß es dir aber jetzt recht gut schmecken! Die Butter ist also ein kleines Christkindgeschenk von Frau Wörle! Sie läßt das Negerlein vielmals grüßen und ihm ein gutes neues Jahr wünschen! Auch wir alle, besonders auch Thomas, wünschen Dir und Deinen lieben Eltern recht viel Glück und Segen im neuen Jahr! Besonders, daß Du gesund und lieb und brav bleibst und Deinen Eltern Freude machst! Im Sommer darfst Du dann wieder zu uns kommen! Endlich haben wir Schnee. Es schneit aber erst seit gestern. och liegt die Schneedecke ziemlich. Ein neues Kazerl haben wir seit dem Herbst auch. Es ist uns zugelaufen und war anscheinend lange im Sindwag [???]. Als es zu uns kam, war es fast verhungert. Mit dem Bürschl [der Hund] verträgt es sich gut, Er hat ja alle jungen Katzen sehr gern. Das kleine Katzenvieh frißt Piez [???] und ist riesig nett und anhänglich.
