Description
Deutsch: Feldafing, Siemensstraße, Thomas-Mann-Haus „Villino“. Den erdgeschossigen Bau mit Schopfwalmdach und hohem Zwerchhaus an der südlichen Eingangsseite ließ sich der Kaufmann Wilhelm Enders 1912/13 nach Plänen von Campbell und Drach erbauen. 1919 erwarb der Verleger Dr. Georg Martin Richter das Anwesen. Thomas Mann beteiligte sich finanziell an dem Kauf und nutzte das versteckt liegende Landhaus als Rückzugsort zum ungestörten Arbeiten. In dem von Thomas Mann liebevoll „Villino“ genannten Sommerhaus befand sich bis 2018 ein Thomas-Mann-Museum.
