Español: Imagen de satélite GOES (Satélite Geoestacional) mostrando el hemisferio occidental con el Océano Pacífico al oeste, el Atlántico al Este, con el continente americano en el centro. Sobre una imagen de radar (para eliminar los problemas de la oscuridad nocturna de la imagen visible) se indican la velocidad y dirección de los vientos en tres niveles: 1. Baja altitud en color amarillo (más de 701 mb). 2. Altitud media, en azul (entre 401 y 700 mb) y 3. Vientos en altura, en rojo (entre 100 y 400 mb). La velocidad relativa se indica con las rayitas de cada flecha. |
