English: Farewell to the troopship BARAMBAH (previously HOBART) at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This black and white photograph depicts the steamship docked at a wharf about to depart. Troops can be seen on deck throwing streamers to the civilian crowd on the wharf below. The BARAMBAH is marked `A37' on the bridge signifying that it is a WW1 troopship. On the reverse of the print is a handwritten inscription in pencil reading `BARAMBAH no6'. Victoria, Australia, c. 1916.
