Description
English: Kurt Neubert (1900–1970), Hans Schneeberger (1895–1970), Arnold Fanck (1889–1974) and Leni Riefenstahl (1902–2003) on the set for the silent film The Great Leap (UFA). The shooting took place in the Dolomites from May to November 1927. The winter and ski scenes were recorded in the Arlberg area near Stuben and Zürs in Austria. The film cameras were the very first single-lens reflex cameras worldwide, Lyta, on demand of Fanck in 1925/26 developed by Lytax-Werke of Apparatebau Freiburg G.m.b.H in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.

Deutsch: Kurt Neubert (1900–1970), Hans Schneeberger (1895–1970), Arnold Fanck (1889–1974) und Leni Riefenstahl (1902–2003) am Set für den Stummfilm Der große Sprung (UFA). Die Dreharbeiten fanden von Mai bis November 1927 in den Dolomiten statt. Die Winter- und Skiszenen wurden im Arlberggebiet bei Stuben und Zürs in Österreich aufgenommen. Die beiden Filmkameras waren die weltweit ersten Spiegelreflexkameras Lyta, auf Anregung von Fanck 1925/26 entwickelt durch die Lytax-Werke der Apparatebau Freiburg G.m.b.H. in Freiburg im Breisgau.
