Summary[edit]
DescriptionFalcon Troopers provide essential services for terrorized town during field training exercise 120823-A-FO214-294.jpg |
English: Paratroopers maneuver by foot through the forest to a mock village on Aug. 23 during the Brigade’s week-long field training exercise. Soldiers assigned to C Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82d Airborne Division, and members of the Brigade’s assessment team traveled to the fictional city to gather information from the locals concerning the security of the area and the essential services the town needed to function. Although the scenario was fictional, the training was real. With the Brigade’s history of conducting short-notice deployments to both combat and humanitarian aid missions, it is important that these paratroopers prepare for all possible scenarios.
