English: Fair Ground, Mullacrew, Co. Louth The Hill of Mullacrew was the site of a famous fair where cattle, sheep and especially wool was traded. During the 19th century, the fair was held on the first Thursday of each month. This view shows the north-east corner of the Fair Ground, about a quarter of the area. In the left distance is Slieve Guillion in Co. Armagh. |
