Deutsch: Ansicht der Fridays-For-Future-Demonstration in Hof am 23.09.2022. Hier sieht man eine Demonstrierende (und Rednerin) mit dem Schild "Lügen ist Lindner - Schweigen ist Scholz". Christian Lindner ist gegenwärtiger Bundesfinanzminister, Olaf Scholz gegenwärtiger Bundeskanzler der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Der Text ist eine Anspielung auf das Sprichwort: "Reden ist Silber, Schweigen ist Gold". Das Schild drückt Kritik an der Regierung der Ampel-Koalition (Koalition aus Sozialdemokratischer Partei Deutschlands, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen und Freier Demokratischer Partei) vor allem in Klimafragen aus, als Teil der Regierung wurden Lindner und Scholz ausgewählt. Scholz wird manchmal kritisiert, sich in Streitfragen oder drängenden Fragen eher zurückzuhalten und abzuwarten. Christian Lindner wird vorgeworfen, vor allem in Klimafragen teils irritierend zu reden oder entgegen wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse zu agieren (bspw. in Debatten um eine generelle Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung von 130 km/h auf Bundesautobahnen). Diese Kritik schlägt sich im im Foto zu sehenden Plakat nieder.

Christian Lindner is the current Federal Minister of Finance, Olaf Scholz is the current Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. The text is an allusion to the proverb: "Talk is silver, silence is gold". The sign expresses criticism of the government of the traffic light coalition (coalition of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Alliance 90/The Greens and the Free Democratic Party), especially on climate issues, Lindner and Scholz were selected as part of the government. Scholz is sometimes criticized for being rather reticent on contentious or pressing issues and for taking a wait-and-see approach. Christian Lindner is accused of sometimes speaking irritatingly or acting contrary to scientific findings, especially on climate issues (for example, in debates about a general speed limit of 130 km/h on federal highways). This criticism is reflected in the poster shown in the photo.
