Summary

[edit]
Description A U.S. Navy Douglas F4D-1 Skyray flying low to pick up and tow a target banner during aerial gunnery training. The banner was laid out on the ground and attached to a looped line stretched between two poles. The hook on the aircraft picked up the loop and the aircraft started an immediate climb, which would lift the banner without dragging it.
