F13417 medieval copper alloy harness pendant
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 46.5mm long, 17.7mm wide and 1.5mm thick. The object is in a fair condition with a green/brown patina and weighs 4.5grams. The object is missing its edges but is shield shaped and has a central suspension loop, 11mm long and 7mm wide, which is oval in form and has a circular sectioned hole. The body of the pendant is decorated with two raised diagonal lines which have a semi-circular section. Above and below this are iron rivets, 2.5mm in diameter, which are surronded by small amounts of corrosion.
