Description	A U.S. Navy Vought F-8E Crusader (BuNo 150909) of Fighter Squadron Squadron VF-194 "Red Lightnings" aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14). VF-194 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 19 (CVW-19) aboard the Ticonderoga for a deployment to Vietnam from 28 December 1967 to 17 August 1968. During the deployment, the F-8E 150909 was shot down by a SAM on 14 February 1968. The pilot Lt(jg) Robert Charles McMahan was killed.
