Description
English: A former U.S. Air Force Northrop F-89J Scorpion (s/n 53-2547) on display at Great Falls Airport, Montana (USA). This F-89 was used in the only live rocket test of a nuclear AIR-2 Genie rocket. The white rockets hanging under the wings are inert replicas of the Genie. It was later in service with the 186th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, 120th Fighter-Interceptor Wing, Montana Air National Guard. In the background is a F-106A Delta Dart.
