Description
English: A U.S. Navy McDonnell F-4J-34-MC Phantom II (BuNo 155784) from Fighter Squadron 114 (VF-114) "Aardvarks" in flight, armed with AIM-9D Sidewinder and AIM-7E Sparrow missiles. VF-114 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) for a deployment to Vietnam from 17 February to 28 November 1972. The F-4J 155784 was later converted to an F-4S and finally retired to the AMARC as 8F0260 on 26 February 1987.
