Description
English: A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A-80-GR Tomcat (BuNo 159459) from Fighter Squadron 102 (VF-102) "Diamondbacks" escorting a Soviet Tupolev Tu-16 (NATO reporting code "Badger C") during the NATO exercise "Ocean Safari '85". VF-102 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 1 (CVW-1) aboard the aircraft carrier USS America (CV-66) for a deplyoment to the North Atlantic from 24 August to 9 October 1985.
