Summary[edit]

Description
English:
Exterior view of the Fraternal Brotherhood Building, Los Angeles, 1905
Photograph of the exterior view of the Fraternal Brotherhood Building, Los Angeles, 1905. The four-story building, situated on the corner of the street, has a flashy sign embossed near the roof, which reads "The Fraternal Brotherhood". The words "Fraternal" and "Brotherhood" flank a circular seal that contains a molding of an American eagle grasping an American flag in one claw and a banner that reads "protection" in the other. Column-shaped buttresses are seen throughout the sides of the building. Most of the windows have striped awnings over the windows. Residential homes can be seen at right. Streetcar tracks line the dirt road in front of the building.
