English: Explosion of the expense magazine, and destruction of the strong stockade, by a shell from the squadron. Storming of Rangoon, 14 April 1852.

Shows the destruction of the stockades defending the river face of Rangoon, by the combined Royal and India naval squadrons, representing the explosion of the expense magazine, and total destruction of the strong stockade defending the King's wharf, by a shell from the Sesostris. The stockade defending Dalla was stormed and carried by a combined party of blue jackets, marines, and a company of her Majesty's 18th.
