English: Excavations full of concrete layers, for building the new project De Hallen in Amsterdam-West, 19 March 2014. The excavation had almost reached ground level, becausee of several layers concrete floors for the parking undergrounds. At the background the long halls of the former tram-depots, now renovated. English: Bouwput vol betonlagen - voor de bouw van het De Hallen project in de Kinkerbuurt, Amsterdam, 19 Maart 2014 - gezien vanaf de Bilderdijkkade. De laatste laag onder grondniveau is bereikt met de reeds gestorte betonlagen voor de parkeer garage. De damwanden van de bouwput worden in de hoeken gestabiliseerd door de dwarsliggende metalen stempels, met name aan de waterkant. Op de achtergrond een weids zicht op de gerenoveerde hallen van de voormalige tram-remise Tollensstraat. Gratis foto Amsterdam van Fons Heijnsbroek
