| Description |
English: Braşov trolleybus 808 was built in 1988 by Gräf & Stift for the Innsbruck trolleybus system (in Austria). Innsbruck sold eight of its 16 high-floor trolleybuses to Romania in late 2003 – probably to a dealer in secondhand vehicles, who in turn sold them to Braşov – and in 2005 No. 808 entered service in Braşov carrying the same fleet number and still wearing the (old) Innsbruck fleet livery that it wore during its career in Innsbruck. In this 2009 photo, No. 808 is also still lettered on its side for IVB, the Innsbruck transit agency. It is pictured in service on Braşov route 7, laying over at ASTRA terminus. |
