Description
English: Since the inauguration in 1940 this building had many functions including port improvements and widening of the quay in 1939. The building originally served as the harbor master's office and provided a 'look-out' on the port. It also served as Customs office for the processing of imports.

In July 2014, the harbor office was fully restored and today it serves as Government Offices. In the photo you can also notice two horses of the 'Horse Bay' (Celestina & Bonifacia) which brings us back in time where an abundance grass was widely available and you could graze along the North Westerly Coast.

This building is situated in Oranjestad, next to the Renaissance Hotel.
