Description

Euphorbia cf. balsamifera, inflorescence

Hi Dysmorodrepanis, you either confused the plant name or the image shows a misidentified plant. Usually the cythia of Euphorbia balsamifera appear single, never in larger pseudumbels as shown. Moreover it produces minute and scale-like bracts only, never these large ones as shown. Would you please check your records to see what Euphorbia species this actually is?
