Español: ESPECTROSCOPÍA ESTELAR.
Espectro, color estelar, temperatura superficial en grados centígrados. La masa, radio y brillo comparados con la del Sol (1) y referidas a la secuencia principal del diagrama Hertzsprung-Russell. Las gigantes y enanas estelares tienen otra relación respecto al Sol. La espectroscopía de la luz fue estudiada por primera vez por Isaac Newton en 1671 por medio del prisma y un haz de luz que incidía en él formando luego el iris. Luego en 1817 fue precursor Joseph von Fraunhofer en el campo estelar y por medio de un espectrógrafo construido por él mismo. El Padre Angelo Secchi en 1860 estudió las características espectrales de las estrellas. El espectro estelar OBAFGKM puede recordarse según la siguiente frase en inglés: Oh, Be A Fine Girl, Kiss Me. (Right Now? Sweet). |
