Description
Português: Estação telefónica do Norte de Lisboa, em Portugal, pertencente à Anglo-Portuguese Telephone Company. Esta fotografia demonstra a forma como a estação operava em 1934, antes da introdução de um sistema automático, que estava então previsto para breve. Esta imagem foi publicada na Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro n.º 1119, de 1 de Agosto de 1934, e digitalizada pela Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
English: Northern telephone exchange station, in the city of Lisbon, in Portugal, owned by the Anglo-Portuguese Telephone Company. This photograph shows the operation of the telephone exchange before its replacement by an automatic system, that was to be installed soon. This photograph was published on the Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro magazine no. 1119, of the 1st August 1934, and scanned by the Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
