Español: La Aljafería - Dintel. Descripción de este emblema en Faustino Menéndez Pidal de Navascués, «"Tanto monta". El escudo de los Reyes Católicos», en Luis Suárez Fernández, Isabel la Católica vista desde la Academia, Real Academia de la Historia de España, (Estudios, 16), 2005, pág. 123:
«En estos territorios [Corona de Aragón], las composiciones armeras eran más flexibles. En Aragón y Cataluña Fernando el Católico usó [...] los palos solos de Aragón, un partido del cuartelado de Castilla-León y de Aragón, a veces en el orden inverso, y en la última época un terciado: 1. Aragón-Sicilia; 2, Aragón; 3, terciado también de Hungría, Anjou-Nápoles y Jerusalén. Finalmente, en Nápoles usó primero, viviendo doña Isabel, un cuartelado: 1,4, contracuartelado de Castilla y León; 2, Aragón partido de Jerusalén partido de Hungría; 3, Aragón partido de Aragón-Sicilia (hay variantes de estas armas). Más tarde, ya viudo, cuartela simplemente Aragón y el terciado de Hungría, Anjou y Jerusalén, timbrándolo a veces con el yelmo coronado y la cimera aragonesa. Las anexiones de Nápoles y de Navarra habían aportado la última modificación en las armas del Rey Católico. Manteniendo los cuarteles 1, 3 y 4 y el entado en punta de Granada, el 2 se cambia por un partido: 1, Aragón cortado de Navarra; 2, Jerusalén partido de Hungría. Así aparece, sostenido por dos grifos, soporte aragonés, y timbrado por una corona en un tímpano del castillo de la Aljafería.»
