| Description |
Deutsch: Das kleine Handstück wog 145,9 Gramm und hatte eine Wasserverdrängung von rund 50 Millilitern, also 50 cm³. Es stammt von der Halde Mina in dem Ort Marsberg im östlichen Sauerland. Das Stück stammt von einer angekippten großen Halde in einem ehemaligen Kupfererztagebau. Das kupferführende Gebirge stammt aus dem Unterkarbon. Vor Ort waren vieler solcher malachitüberzogenen Steine zu finden (massenhaft). Die senkrechten Stirnseiten hier im Bild waren mit einer Fahrradlampe angeleuchtet, um die Kupferoxide besser hervorzubringen. Das Bild entstand in der Mathe-AC Lernwerkstatt in Aachen.
