Notes The silver cockerel or fowler, which is actually an eagle, was the emblem of Polish riflemen's (marksmen's) associations (Bractwo Kurkowe). It was the gift to the Brotherhood from Jan Baryczka, who was the Warsaw's King of Marksmanship in 1552.
