Description
Deutsch: Erlangen. An den Werkern. Im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert befanden sich hier an der Regnitz mehrere Kunstmühlen und Handwerksbetriebe. Das Wasserkraftwerk entstand im 19. Jahrhundert. Die Wasserkraftanlage ging 1919 in den Besitz der Stadt Erlangen und wurde anschließend bis 1922 ausgebaut. 1960 bis 1962 erfolgte die Installation der noch heute arbeitenden Turbinen. Leistung: 3.000.000 kWh (ca. 1000 Haushalte). 1981 wurde eine Fischtreppe errichtet.
