Description
English: Cassier's Magazine of January 1895 had an article on page 215-227, titled John Ericsson, the engineer (part two). Among the illustrations was this, showing Ericsson's torpedo ship Destroyer, built in the 1880s and offered to the U.S. Navy. The torpedo was not self-prolled and after a series of tests the vessel was rejected and later sold to Brazil. Illustration on page 226.
