The rare orchid Epipogium roseum or known as the ghost orchid grows unknowingly from a pile of dry leaf humus in the forest at the foot of Mount Tapak, Bedugul, Bali.

Bahasa Indonesia: Epipogium roseum merupakan anggrek terestrial (anggrek tanah) yang tumbuh tanpa daun. Di Indonesia, anggrek yang sering disebut anggrek hantu ini muncul pada awal musim hujan di bulan November, terutama beberapa hari setelah hujan lebat pertama turun. Anggrek ini memiliki rimpang bawah tanah dengan masing-masing tumbuh sebuah tangkai berbunga putih hingga kekuningan dengan jumlah hingga 10 baris dalam satu tangkai. Anggrek ini tumbuh dengan cepat namun tidak bertahan lama.
English: Epipogium roseum is a terrestrial orchid (ground orchid) that grows leafless. In Indonesia this orchids, which are often called ghost orchids appear at the start of the rainy season in November, they appear especially a few days after the first heavy rain poured. It has an underground rhizome and each grows a stem with white to yellowish flowers numbering up to 10 in rows. This orchid grows quickly however short lasted. ​
