Description
Español: La obra representa al caíd Axataf entregando las llaves de la ciudad de Sevilla al rey Fernando III el Santo en 1252 frente a una de las puertas de la ciudad, siendo una obra ejecutada hacia 1750 y cuyo autor se tomó la licencia de hacer figurar la Catedral tal y como los cristianos la construyeron. El cuadro muestra también a la Virgen de los Reyes en los cielos en el momento de la entrega, y la obra procede de la antigua Puerta de san Fernando de la ciudad de Sevilla, que se encontraba al final de dicha calle y que fue demolida en 1868.
