Description
English: An image of a postage stamp issued in French Indo-China during World War II (two) by the French colonial authorities from the website "Philatelie et Marcophilie de la 2nde guerre mondiale".
Français : 1946 : Yvert n° 299a et 300a (Michel n° 249a et 250a). Timbres Pétain Kouang Tcheou surchargés (50 000) puis détruits.

En même temps, dans les zones sous contrôle Viet Min, les timbres d’Indochine trouvés dans les postes par les troupes d’Hô Chi Minh sont surchargés VIET-NAM DAN CHU CONG-HOA (le receveur de la poste de Nga Khé, au sud d’Hanoï les a surchargés localement ; un retirage a été vendu aux philatélistes)

Entiers

Début 40, un entier Baie d’Along à 8 cents arrive de France. Un autre de 12 cents (tarif de janvier 1942) est arrivé en septembre 43 en Indochine (il avait, lui aussi, été imprimé en France). La version brun clair du 12 cents a surtout servi lors de la période d’internement des français par les japonais, tandis que la nuance brun violet est restée en métropole. Quelques cartes ont bien circulé entre l’Indochine et la Métropole, empruntant des routes plus ou moins complexes.

Il existe d’autres entiers (ou enveloppe avec timbre pré-imprimé)

Pétain 6 c sur enveloppe (à partir de mars 43). Cet entier à été repiqué pour le centre sportif saïgonnais.

Angkor 6 cents sur enveloppe, puis à 7 cents à partir de fin 43

Des entiers postaux (enveloppe) poste aérienne existent aussi (36 cents, 37 cents, 66 cents).
