Description
Deutsch: Enthüllung des Ehrenmals für Paul Sauer auf dem Gelände des Jugendkulturhauses in Bolesławiec. Das Haus untersteht dem Powiat Bolesławiecki. Dort war bis 1956 das Gefängnis der polnischen Geheimpolizei (UB) untergebracht. Abgebildet sind der Vorsitzende der Bundesheimatgruppe Bunzlau Peter Börner, eine Mitarbeiterin des Jugendkulturhauses und der Landrat des Kreises Bunzlau Dariusz Kwasniewski. Das Ehrenmal wurde von den Künstlern Danuta Hopko (Gesamtentwurf), Aneta Szarlej (technische Ausführung der Bronzeplatte) und Tadeusz Łasica (Sockel und Säule) geschaffen.
English: Unveiling of a memorial dedicated to Paul Sauer on the site of the youth cultural centre in Bolesławiec which was until 1956 used by the Ministry of Public Security. Depicted are the head of the Bundesheimatgruppe Bunzlau, Peter Börner, a staff member of the youth cultural centre and the starosta of Bolesławiec County, Dariusz Kwasniewski. The memorial was created by the artists Danuta Hopko (overall design), Aneta Szarlej (execution of the bronze plaque), and Tadeusz Łasica (base and column).
