Noother driver was able to stand the heat orfatigue as well as this native Indian. Of the ten trucks hauling material out ofLancaster, the contractor planned to have twolaid up all the time for adjustments, repairs,lubrication, overhauling, etc. Eighty per centof the equipment was on the road all thetime and 20 per cent was in the temporarygarage which was built at Lancaster to main-tain the trucks on this job.
