Symbolic representation of energy as a human

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Anthropomorphic representation of Energy as a seated woman. In her right hand is a globe wrapped in wires; the wires run around the top of the picture, and she grasps them on the other side in her left hand. She wears a loose cross-bodiced dress and her hair is tied back with an Alice band. Behind her is a sunburst pattern of lightning; in the middle distance on the left is a ship transmitting (visible) radio waves, and on the right on land a transmitter tower is communicating with it likewise. The picture is printed in black, red, and orange.
