Title
End Scraper
Description
English: A short and very thick flake from a bisected pebble of dark brown flint with cream flecks. It has been worked three quarters of the way around with a very steep flaking angle and looks very like a single platform core but the careful and very fine abrupt finishing retouch has straightened the scraper edge and given a very regular plan with a convex end scraper and convergent, straight margins, like a horse shoe scraper but for its outstanding thickness. Butler(2005) illustrates one on page 166, fig 70, 6.
