Meet Emma. She is half Indian, quarter Pakistani, and absolutely breathtaking. She is probably, to my mind, the most beautiful model I have worked with and taking portraits of her was absolutely wonderful. We spent all day together, working on some intense portraits, some candid boudoir and lingerie photos and a little bit of fashion. I think she has an enchanting aura about her and I cant wait to edit more photos :).
Lighting This lighting setup is the opposite of your normal two light setup. Instead of Emma facing the key light, she is facing the fill light. The key light is a softbox positioned 90deg to her right, giving the image a 3D quality by producing a line of bright light on the edge of her body. It helps lift her off of the background and layers the image somewhat. The fill light is positioned just to my right, and is another large softbox. This light is set quite low down and simply lifts her face out of shadow and gives it a little more detail. This helps add a bit of mystery to the image and makes it a little more candid.
