Description
English: The emblem of the Storting (the Norwegian parliament) in use from October 1st, 2016.1 2 The emblem consists of a red free-standing lion and may be used in all communication from the Storting's administration. Examples of communication are: external communication, internal material, exhibitions, signage, physical surroundings and gift items. The Norwegian parliament uses the Storting's coat of arms for operations that require a higher degree of formality.3
Norsk bokmål: Stortingets emblem (riksvåpen med rød frittstående løve) i bruk fra den 1. oktober 2016.1 2 Riksvåpen med rød frittstående løve kan benyttes i all kommunikasjon fra virksomheten til Stortingets administrasjon. Eksempler på kommunikasjon kan blant annet være: ekstern kommunikasjon, internmateriell, utstillinger, skilting, fysiske omgivelser og gaveartikler. Stortinget benytter riksvåpen med skjold og krone til virksomhet som krever en høyere grad av formalitet.3
