Fleet of Buses Serving Territory Now Without Railway Facilities Grand Concourse to Mosholu Parkwayat 207th Street, a distance of 8.3 miles.The buses are run on a ten-minuteheadway so far as possible. As soonas additional equipment is received, itis planned to open up another routefrom Fort Lee Ferry thence via 126thStreet to Fifth Avenue and to sand-wich in with the first-named route soas to give a five-minute schedule overthe Concourse. These routes do notoperate except for about a half mile onstreets occupied by trolley car tracksand then only to cross the Madison Ave-nue Bridge. This bus system is the result of actiontaken by the Board of Estimate on July1, 1921, granting to Emil Leindorf,owner of the Concourse Bus Line, Inc.,permits to use the above streets formotor bus traffic.
