he flushingand washing water supply is located overhead in thetoilet room and is filled from either side of the car byattaching an ordinary garden hose to the pipe leadingfrom the tank to that side of the car and fitted withthe male end of a standard garden-hose connection.When the tank is filled through one of these pipes, theother acts as an overflow, and as these two pipes enterthe tank at the top, no valve is necessary in either. Through the use of the Peter Smith hot-water heaterin the motormans cab the full capacity of the baggagecompartment is available for handling baggage andexpress shipments. Two folding sheets attached to thepartition between the baggage compartment and thesmoking compartment are avai.able for use of passen-gers when the car is heavily loaded and there is roomin the former. The motormans cab is separated fromthe baggage compartment by a partition made ofpressed steel sections with wood fillers, designed toprotect the motorman from being crushed by the heavy
