Curtis, traffic manager Norton Company,Worcester, who demonstrated that the trucking businesson the basis of freight rates is a losing proposition.Mr. Curtis believes strongly in trolley freight transpor-tation. H. C. Page, general manager Worcester Con-solidated Street Railway, and A. E. Stone, general man-ager Boston & Worcester Street Railway, expressedtheir belief that one of the rays of hope in the futureof the electric railway business is the possibility of ob-taining additional revenues from freight transportation.
